Share Wokingham is run entirely by volunteers. We regularly have opportunities to join our teams, either at our central hub at Norreys Church or at one of our sites.

At each site, we have volunteers setting up and sorting food, serving customers, clearing and tidying at the end of the session. Many of our sites operate cafes, and some volunteers help serve refreshments. We also have volunteers who chat with customers and offer to pray with them.

Each site relies on volunteers with cars who collect food from local supermarkets or the central Share hub.

A team of volunteers also helps at the Share hub at Norreys, unloading lorry deliveries and allocating to sites.

The time commitment varies depending on the role and the site. Some of our volunteers are able to offer regular hours every week, others volunteer less frequently or regularly depending on their other commitments.

All our sites are run entirely by volunteers, and we regularly have vacancies for more volunteers.
